Our Inventory Specialist will plan and execute detailed storage operations within our SPUR warehouse division. This person will develop their knowledge of our logistics services, including project-based storage needs, inventory data management projects, warehouse daily operations and management. An ideal candidate will have experience with learning new database systems, must be tech-savvy and needs the ability to apply learning strategies to solve detailed inventory problems.

Key Criteria/Requirements:
Prior industry experience (2-4 years) in distribution center or inventory control environment or similar industry experience is preferred. College degree is required in lieu of experience. Should be able to multi-task work in a fast/demanding work environment. High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and other basic computer programs. Should be able to perform basic math, such as preparing counts. Demonstrated ability to be reliable, professional and punctual. Proven ability of excellent written and verbal communication skills. Capable of setting an exceptional standard in customer service.
FLSA status: Non-Exempt
Physical Requirements: Position requires: ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about office and warehouse locations; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time; manipulation (lift, carry, move) of medium to heavy weights of 50-85 pounds; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp and type for prolonged periods of time; visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is low.
